The Matrix
The plot: Neo is told that he is "the one." The man that can lead humanity to victory over the machines. The only problem is, Neo thought he was living in the real world in the 1990's and not simply imprisoned in a computerised version of said world.The good: It's brilliant, the plot is complex and a great idea, it's full of amazing martial arts done by the actual actors and bullet time produces some amazing effects.
The bad: Unless your a geek you won't completely understand it the first time you watch it.
